I have a myspace. I have posted this tonight and when I wrote it, it was intended to be a wish for my friends who are mothers to have a happy mothers day. I realized I was writing it to you. If you are a mother, thanks. Thanks for all of it. Every single nano second. Thanks for all the firsts and the lasts and the in between. Thank you for the food I hated and the food I loved, not letting me watch t.v and asking I pick up a book instead. Thanks for letting me roll around in the dirt and come home COVERED in mud from head to toe. Thanks for letting me make mistakes and bump my shin. Thanks for letting me get my heart broken and assuring me all would be well. Thanks for telling me there ARE some things worth fighting for. I know what they are and I will never forget them. Thanks for being at my graduation and being the proudest woman around for the millionth time. Thanks for smiling so big I can't tell if your eyes are open. Thanks for flapping your arms at your side because you are so happy to see me. Thanks for laughing with me until our sides split. Thanks for reaching down and pulling me out of the water again and again. Thank you for telling me to wait. Thanks for telling me I will get married. To the right one. I will have children, they will be beautiful. If they come out like you...same spirit, same passion for life and learning...same loving heart....same strength....they will.
