Three Degrees restaurant Portland Oregon

Lets just say I have the inside scoop on Three degrees Restaurant. The phone number is (503)295-6166. The address is 1510 SW Harbor Way. When you get there you will find it is nestled up right next to the river. The entire wall of the restaurant is made up of windows providing you with a view no matter where you sit. It is downtown, but fear not. There is complimentary valet parking for guests dining in the restaurant. Riverplace Hotel is home to Three Degrees, and there are many things you need to know about this bountiful treat on the river.
I just don't know where to start. I guess if you are able to think this far ahead and plan for the place to see and be seen on fourth of July, take your eyes off the computer. Pick up the phone and make a reservation. They started taking reservations for the next fourth of July the day of July Fourth. The fireworks are launched over the river and right in front of the restaurant. For years the Blues Festival has provided our fine city with excellent music and fine entertainment on the green by the marina, and it typically runs through fourth of July. The main stage is right in front of the outdoor bar terrace for Three Degrees Restaurant. There are two outdoor seating areas for this restaurant. One is the one adjacent and part of the bar.(happy hour is 3 to 6 Monday through Saturday.) The other one is a terrace that overlooks the esplanade. It's all win, win so far. There are rocking chairs outside, and there are outdoor heaters on the bar side only. Still, the bar menu includes hot beverages, and the esplanade and the river provide plenty of scenery.
The food is amazing, and priced accordingly with generous portions provided with warm welcomes from the staff. There are several new additions to the management team and a new chef, who's innovative and tasty treats can only be a welcome addition to Portland's palette.
There are Christmas ships that have already launched for this year, but it is a popular gathering place for viewing and dining purposes, also located within walking distance of theater's.
My first impression was a warm welcome and smiling employees that appeared to be where they wanted to be and were happy I came in. I liked that.
I also know that if you enter "riverplace hotel portland oregon" in a google search engine Riverplace Hotel's web page will be available, and inside there is a 360 degree virtual tour of the hotel and restaurant properties. There is also a menu available online for Three degrees Restaurant. This is handy for the people you are trying to orchestrate together for a meal. The following questions, "what kind of food," and "what does it look like" can be answered when they look at it online. I also love technology for this and many other reasons. I advise calling ahead in any dining out situation if it is at all possible. Dress is casual to casual business, it's the northwest. I have yet to be asked to go home and change anywhere, but I know when it's appropriate to do so. But the atmosphere is so relaxed in so many places! Part of the reason I stayed and fell in love with Portland. Although nothing is ever set in stone, Portland is what I have called home for almost six years now. Keep in mind I stopped here for a weekend only. Happy dining.
